Why Do You Need To Rent A Scooter In Barcelona?

  • You can discover the city at your own pace. Indeed with a scooter you avoid all the bothers (waiting for the public transports, expensive prices,…),the crowd, the dense traffic. Moreover you can easily park everywhere so if you want to stop to see a monument or just to have a walk it is not a problem. The fact that the parking spots are free allows you to take your time without thinking about how much it will cost you.

  • You can go almost everywhere. Indeed with a scooter you can discover the whole city and even more. Feel free to go to the Tibidabo mountain to see the incredible view of Barcelona (you can see 35km of coast from the top). You can ride along the beaches of Barcelona and park your scooter to have a sunbath or you can even go outside the city to discover Sitges or Monserrat. Driving in the city center is not a problem either, the city has been conceived to host all the motorcycles and scooters.The thing is that you have to choose wisely the power of your scooter (50cc, 125cc, 300cc) according to where you want to go.
  • The city is made for scooters. Indeed Barcelona is the city in europe that has the most scooter per inhabitants! The city is made to host all these motorcycles, indeed you can have a lot of free parking spots everywhere in the city. So parking your scooter won´t be a problem. But you still have to be careful with the traffic because of the number of scooters that circulate in Barcelona. The traffic is speed and dense. There are also some rules to park. You can´t park your scooter anywhere, indeed on sidewalks that measure less than 5 meters you can´t park your scooter.
  • If you stay for a short time renting a scooter is the best option. In fact you can see the most famous monuments and discover the entire city in 24h. If you want to take the most of your stay here and live like a local discovering Barcelona riding a scooter it is a great experience! You can go at your own pace and stop anywhere you want.
